On February 28, visitors of all ages gathered to explore all that Aggieland has to offer. The campuswide event offers something for every visitor, whether you’re there to catch a performance by the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band or to attend a presentation on making the most of your time as a student.
The Texas A&M Office of National Fellowships supports students in synthesizing their accomplishments and goals to position them as highly qualified applicants for prestigious and highly competitive fellowship opportunities. Beyond university-wide scholarships, some of these fellowship opportunities consider applicants from across the nation and even around the world—making the candidate pools immensely larger, competition even more rigorous, and awards that much more prestigious. Despite the impressive competition, Montgomery Bohde ’26 and Ernie Vita ’22 emerged as the first two Aggies to receive the world-renowned Churchill and Schwarzman Scholar honors.
National Fellowships are prestigious awards designed to celebrate accomplished students and give them national recognition as well as access to opportunities around the world. At Texas A&M, students have easy access to dedicated support that helps them navigate the process of applying for and receiving national fellowships.
